Every Wednesday 11:00am~1:00pm for 8 classes
Let's learn floral design with Belle Saison-Kimie who has designed
thousands of bouquets worldwide for over 30 years. She has been the
award winner fot the New York flower show for 15 years in a row.
Regarding the instructor please refer to Kimie Miyamoto.
Floral Design Course:
1) Personal flowers: corsage, wristlet, boutonniere, head piece, brides
maid bouquet, and a trendy bridal bouquet (3 days)
All the flowers worn on your body defines body flowers.
2) Church Décor: Altar arrangements, pew décor, runner, etc, are
conducted at the church located in Manhattan (1day)
Altar arrangements, pew décor, and runner are basic ceremonial
flowers.
3) Reception Décor: Center pieces, cocktail table, place card table,
lady's and men's room arrangements (1day)
You will learn a traditional center piece to a trendy and fashionable
vase arrangement.
4)Trip to a New York Flower Market to learn the names of the flowers,
foliage and how to purchase the flowers and supplies. (1 day)
Let's identify the name of the flowers by observing many kinds of
flowers in the New York Flower Market.
5)invitation to major bridal show in Manhattan at the Marriot Marquis or
The Pierre Bridal Show (1day)
Since you have learned wedding floral designs of three categories, it is
time for you to enjoy a bridal fashion show as well as bridal related
trade shows.
6)Your bouquet: The theme to be announced.
How about making your own bouquet by using all the techniques you
have attained in the class (1 day)
Cost: $990

-Flowers $290
- All the flowers and floral supplies $180
(vases, containers, basket, ribbon, tape, etc. )
- Bridal Show Invitation
- Tea Time
Certificate $98 (Option)
Note:
In each class student will create at least two floral designs and take
them home with them.
What to bring with you: Scissors, clippers, apron, notebook, pen and
pencil, camera, a large plastic bag to take your flowers home.
INTENSIVE COURSE CURRICULUM:
Schedule: Every Monday to Saturday: Graduation
Time: 11AM- 3PM (When you need more time to complete your works, I
will wait till you finish.)
1. Personal flowers: They are defined flower designs to be worn or
decorate on your body.
* Corsages, Headpieces: (Tiara, Wreath), Flower girls, Boutonnieres,
Bridesmaids, Bouquets, Bride Bouquets
2. Ceremony Decor: To decorate the ceremony site with flowers &
plants
* Altar Arrangements, Pew Decor, Runner, Archway Décor, Chuppah
decor
3. Reception Decor: To decorate the banquet hall with flowers & plants
* Centerpieces (from classy to contemporary table arrangements)
* Registration table or Place card table, Cocktail Table, Sweetheart
table,
Buffet table, Wedding Cake decor
4. Flower care: You will learn how to keep your flowers fresh.
5. Trip to NYC Flower Market:
* You will learn how to purchase good flowers at the best price.
6. Identify name of the flowers by using flower chart.
* You will learn available flowers to be used for wedding depending on
spring, summer, fall, Christmas and winter.
7. Graduation: When you complete the entire curriculum listed above,
you will graduate w/ a certificate of completion on Total Wedding
Floral Designs.
